San Salvador is probably not your usually summer vacation destination. San Salvador is the capital city of the Republic of El Salvador. If you are visiting El Salvador on a vacation, though, you should also visit San Salvador which is the largest city of El Salvador.

Where is San Salvador?

San Salvador is located at about 2,000 feet above sea level. The weather in San Salvador is often hot in during the day and nice at night. It never gets cold in San Salvador. San Salvador is Central America's most crowded city. The air is polluted with car fumes and exhausts.
